West and South-Western Ontario Region
Owen Sound area: 100% PEAK (30% leaf fall)
Predominant colours: deep reds, some orange and a little brown starting to show through.
Best viewing opportunities: Travel Grey Road 7 and 13 to view the valley and here are some great driving and
hiking options starting in Flesherton: www.theflesherton.ca/fall-colours-trail/. Other great tours include waterfalls,
scenic lookouts etc. www.visitgrey.ca/travel-experiences/day-trips/waterfalls-and-fall-colours. There are also some
great motorcycle touring routes www.ridegreybruce.com/tour-2-super-loop.html.

Beaver Valley, Eugenia Falls, Meaford: 90-100% PEAK
Predominant colours: colours are bright and beautiful when the sun is out.
Best viewing opportunities: drive south through Beaver Valley, towards Kimberley, turn east on Side Rd. 7B, to
travel to the top of the escarpment at Old Baldy, then back down and south through Kimberley. Travel west on Grey
Rd. 30 to Lower Valley Rd. to Hogg's Falls. Follow Lower Valley Rd south to Hwy 4. Travel East to Grey Rd. 13,
turn north and loop back to Eugenia Falls, then either follow Canrobert Street to the Lake Eugenia Public
Beach/Boat Launch or east on the 8th Concession across a colourful section of Lake Eugenia. The colours are very
bright and there is a lot of reds/crimson. Eugenia Falls; Cuckoo Valley, Lake Eugenia, Beaver Valley and the Apple
