Title
Senior Manager - Quality Management Systems
Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Description
This is a senior hands-on position focusing on the implementation and management of corporate wide quality management systems. Reporting to the VP Manufacturing Operations, the candidate will foster a total quality culture and provide the tools, processes and methodologies required to provide sustainable quality function deployment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Manages ISO 9000 and 14000 quality and EHS systems
2) Establishes methodology for ongoing measurement and reduction of total CONQ
3) Establishes methodology for disseminating Voice of the Customer
4) Provides training in quality systems and quality principals/methodologies/tools
5) Evaluates the effectiveness of quality system procedures and recommends improvements/preventative actions
6) Supports the development of new policies, procedures, and guidelines where quality disciplines are required.
7) Internal auditing and corrective/preventative action management
8) Chairs and coordinates Semi-annual Quality and EHS management reviews
9) Implements/rejuvinates and participates in sustainable cross-functional quality processes including MRB, NCM, CAR, PAR, RMA, RTV, 8D methodology, SCAR, vendor performance management
10) Works with QC and QA to establish effective tools and methods for reduction of NC’s, optimization of product yields etc
11) Establishes appropriate benchmarking sources and implements strategic benchmarking methodologies
12) Works with Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to establish inspection and testing requirements and relevant accept/reject criteria for products and raw materials.
13) Responds to customer requests for supplier qualification documentation, audits etc .
14) Participates with New Product development teams to optimize NPG processes and metrics
15) Establishes quality metrics for manufacturing, supply chain, strategic and operational business processes
16) Works with SCM and Engineering to manage supplier qualification, AVL, supplier audits, resolution of SCARs and supplier development
17) Works with business to implement methodology for identifying opportunities for CI based on lean and six sigma principles
18) Works with business to implement world class business processes in alignment with Sandvine’s growth strategy and technology/product roadmap


Skills
Education Requirements:
A. Bachelor's degree in related field ,CQM/CQE certification preferred.
B. SME in ISO QMS, SPC/DOE
C. Formal problem solving training (8D, CAR, etc.).
D. Solid knowledge/training in Total Quality Management.
E. Statistical Process Control/DOE methodology.
F. Certification as Lead Auditor is an asset

Skills
A) Strongly developed analytical, problem solving, process improvement and relationship building skills
B) Excellent communication and influencing skills, and aptitude to efficiently and effectively resolve complex issues
C) Track record of results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
D) Experience with SAP QM/Quality plan/Characteristics, Notifications, Batch management as definite asset

Experience:
Minimum 7 years progressive experience in Quality Management, preferably in a high tech manufacturing environment. ASQ Certification would be an asset (CQA, CQE, CQM). Experience with Tier 1 ERP/MES/QM systems would also be an asset.

Title
Contracts Administrator
Location

Description

Your main responsibility will be to assist in the preparation, review and administration of the Company’s contracts with its customers, distribution partners and subcontractors and to maintain records relating to the Company’s corporate subsidiaries.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Review and identify necessary revisions or exceptions that should be taken to terms and conditions submitted by prospective customers so as to comply with the
Company’s general contracting practices;
• Draft and review sales contracts from template and guiding through approval and execution process;
• Assist the General Counsel in documenting contracting policies and procedures and the communication of same to necessary departments within the Company;
• Maintain an updated set of approved contract templates and filing system for contractual documents in our legal database;
• Provide “corporate clerk” type services in respect of various subsidiary companies including preparation and filing of annual returns, resolutions and other corporate
documents;
• Provide general administrative support to the General Counsel, including management of Legal department filing systems, precedent systems and general
correspondence.
Skills

Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years work related experience, preferably with some experience in a contracts administration or procurement department of a technology company;
• Self-motivated and extremely organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task;
• Attention to detail and willingness to take charge of record keeping, follow-up and file management responsibilities;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Advanced at Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to work autonomously

Costing Analyst
Location

Description

As a Costing Analyst within the Sandvine finance team, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for all elements of the inventory costing cycle, internal project costing, gross margin and variance analysis. Reporting to the Controller and working closely with other functional area leaders and project managers you will be responsible for requirements for monthly and quarterly reporting on all aspects of costing and inventory related metrics.

Your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

• Responsibility over the manufacturing planning process from a cost perspective including standard cost planning, capacity planning, labour and overhead activity rates;
• Work with the VP Operations to prepare monthly and quarterly inventory provisions and scrap analysis;
• Prepare analysis for the monthly reporting package including gross margin, inventory metrics, and material and overhead variances;
• Review and assist internal project managers in the preparation of product financial plans and assessments, provide budget to actual analysis, and update project forecasting;
• Identify and communicate pertinent costing related issues or risks and prepare an assessment of the business impacts;
• Assist in ad hoc gross margin and forecasting analysis as required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of relevant experience;
